WHAT IS WHEEL ALIGNMENT?
Wheel Alignment refers to an adjustment of a vehicle’s suspension – the system that connects a vehicle to its wheels. It is not an adjustment of the tyres or wheels themselves. The key to proper alignment is adjusting the angles of the tyres which affects how they make contact with the road.
tyrZ have invested in the latest, state of the art, Hunter Hawkeye system!
Using cameras to give live readings of your vehicles geometry, The Hunter system ensures we can quickly and accurately diagnose any misalignment issues on your vehicle and, where possible, correct them.
The Hunter Hawkeye System
The Hunter Hawkeye uses cameras to get live readings on each of the four wheels. It records numerous angles including toe, caster and camber enabling us to thoroughly align your car.[/one-half]
How does my car go out of align?
The chances are that you will have hit a pot hole recently. Maybe not as large as this one, but it may have felt as big!
It may also have been that you have had some mechanical work done to the vehicle such as suspension or steering parts.
If so it is highly recommended to have your vehicles alignment checked.
Tell tale signs
If your vehicle starts to ‘pull’ to one side, or if there are signs of ‘uneven’ wear on the tyres or if your just worried because you have been down a hole that jarred the car.
Getting you back on the right track
At tyrZ we will give your vehicles alignment a thorough examination.
Firstly we will check the tyre pressures as this can have an adverse affect on how the car handles. Then we will attach the gauges and produce the vehicles current alignment readings via. We will then, if required, adjust the tracking back to the vehicle manufacturers settings.
Finally we will produce you a before and after printout to show you what adjustments, if any, have been carried out.
