Congleton-based charity Ruby’s Fund has received a donation of four tyre Minion models, handcrafted by the team here at tyrZ Congleton!
We decided to create and donate the Minions after visiting the sensory centre to see the fantastic work that the charity do for the children in Cheshire.
After seeing first hand the great work that the team at Ruby’s fund do in the community, we knew we had to give something back to them. These sorts of centres are vital to the community, and the activities that they do with young people is absolutely invaluable.
Ruby’s Fund had mentioned that they wanted something fun to display outside of their front doors, and we thought that a donation of four minion tyre stacks would be in-keeping with the theme of their centre. Hopefully they will help welcome the children as they come through the doors.
Ruby’s Fund, based on Roe Street, Congleton, run an inclusive sensory centre and social café for children and young people with additional needs.
Alison Parr, founder of Ruby’s Fund, commented about the donation: “The Minions will make a fantastic addition to our centre. We have needed something outside our main doors for a long time.
“Donations like this are vital for the service users, especially when we have ongoing projects like the buy our building appeal. The Minions will put a smile on the children’s faces when they walk through the door which is what we are all about.”
We were happy to help!
