tyrZ had fairly humble beginnings (Myself and the van next to Jodrell Bank was it!) and was borne out of the skills we had and the demand around us. We could repair and fit tyres and were situated in Cheshire’s rural Peak District surrounded by farmers who had many vehicles that had tyres that needed servicing. And so, tyrZ was created.
In 2004 we purchased a van and set about equipping it on a budget, then set out calling on all and sundry in the surrounding area.
Today we run a fleet of vans (we have started equipping our vans with high end leverless tyre changers to meet the increasing demand for high performance, ultra low profile tyres) and have two drive in centres but, I am very proud to boast, we still retain a good deal of our original customers who gave us a chance right in the beginning!
We still strive to retain the principles on which we were founded “honest, good value service” in everything we do for our retail, business and, of course, our farming clients.
